I have 11 dark brahma pullets I got from Ideal. They are just so adorable! I love the fat fluff balls. Very surprised by the heavy feathering they have on their feet for hatchery stock.

Oh sweet chickens!!! Thank goodness! My jaw dropped when I thought they wouldn't go broody! My goal is to have my own supply of chicks so I don't have to order from the hatchery anymore. Thank you for reassuring me they will!

I have a dark and a light brahma hen. they have just started laying. does anyone have a guess how many banty eggs I could fit under 1 of these girls if they go broody?

This is (not such a good pic of my roo) but my other big boy Dancer realizing that he can lure the cows over, then scare them away by flapping his wings. Truly hilarious to watch!!

This one the boys are following Daddy (my bf) over to see the curious cows who are trying to figure out what those things are running around our yard and making all that noise.

These are just 2 of my 4 birds, I've got 2 more buffs, they're younger, and one I am REALLY REALLY keeping my fingers crossed will be a hen!

I'll need to review how to reply to individual posts but thanks to Chickenlady08 for your reply about me losing my bantam buff rooster and I'm sorry for your loss of Molly. They're such friendly birds it makes it so hard to lose them.

It was a pretty afternoon here so I took some pics of my Partridge LF and thought I'd share. First is pullet India. Too bad she has a single comb.

He guys I was looking for some good old black and white photos, and drawings of good typey modern large fowl Brahmas. I thought I had them stashed in my machine here, but am having trouble finding them. I did a search and was able to find these paintings, but if anybody has, or knows wear they can be found, I would appreciate seeing them.
