Breed? Gender? Parents in the pic with the chick

So i bought the mother as a sex link but have no sure idea on the roo and what may have carried through to the chick.

Is the chick a roo? (~9weeks old)

At 9 weeks I’m guessing you have a rooster. I’m going partly on the comb but also on how heavy the legs look and general body configuration.

With the mother being a sex link, that means she is a cross, not a specific breed. The chick is a mutt. It is not any specific breed.
