The outcome of satin X silkied would likely result in 50% satin and 50% silkied correct? Or is there other factors to consider?

I have a satin rooster and two silkied hens that I'm considering letting hatch out this spring/summer and was curious of possible outcomes.

That's pretty much correct.

I've heard if you breed anything else to silkie they lose the silkied feathering so I wasn't sure with him being satin how it would work. Thanks!

Yes, however if it is a silkie with satin feathering, you can get either or.

Hey, if your interested in silikes, maybe look into frizzled silkies. They come in both the satin and silkied variety.

Yes satins are crosses from silkies so they would have silkie fluff.
