Breeding and Raising and Hatching of Barnyard Chickens!!!!!!!!!!

Good luck. We have thought of doing the same. One of our hens gathered wooden eggs from a couple of nests and sat for several weeks. No wooden chicks hatched!

That's too bad as they could have been chips off the old block!

Hi, Wanting to join in the discussion here. I have 8 newly hatched chicks from a lot of eggs I won on EBAY. The roo was an F3 OE X Brahma and the hens were OE, EE, gold laced wyandotte, swedish flower hen, and light brahma. They are the CUTEST and I am so excited to see how they develop. I got 100% hatch rate on my BY mix that went into lock down, and they are a week old now and super sweet. I highly recommend BY mix chicks!
