Two roosters came from Georgia via Alicia Albury to the Ohio Nationals where they were picked up. I will post a pic of the roo later when I get home. We already swapped hatching eggs.
Good for you ! Really hope they work out for you! Georgia,
would that be the breeder in Barnesville? Connie Zullo?
Best,
Karen

just signing on to this thread, as i have a birchen pullet from April Howington who's apparently got a duckwing parent, and has produced what April identifies as a a silver wheaten pullet and a duckwing cockerel chick -- they are just about 6 weeks old now:

will be watching them with great curiosity as they grow out! and trying to get my head wrapped around the genetics at work here...

If they have a birchen parent they will probably have some melanizers
which will be obvious later when the chicks are older.
Silver Duckwing is e+/e+ S/S (-)
Best,
Karen

You can create a Silver Salmon using a Birchen Marans on a Golden Salmon hen. I intend to hatch as many Silver/Golden Salmons as I can this Spring - Fall and cull out the ones that aren't French standard.
