Broken Beak or Something Else?

Finally was able to move the chicks (just over 8 weeks) into the barn today and I notice a Bresse cockrel seems to have a broken beak? Is it something else? Anything I should do?

Looks like the top layer has peeled off.
Hard to tell if it's cracked or not.
He may have got it caught in wire or a feeder.

I'd just keep an eye on him to see that he's eating/drinking o.k. The beak may be sore for a few days.

Thank you! Looking at it when I took the picture I didn’t see a crack, will take a closer look again tomorrow. Will hold back on switching them to the nipple waterer until it’s better.
