Brooder help!?!?

Can I enclose my brooder completely like a 2x2 with a lid and light bulb? I have no way to heat and can't afford anything else. It gets around 10 to 0 degrees fahrenheit and like for day old chicks to get warmer than 10 degrees. Also can't bring them inside.
 
Yes, you can. And if they're outside, it might not be a bad idea; it'll keep out drafts etc.

How big of an enclosure? You'll want to make sure they have room to get away from the light if they get too warm. Also make sure that it isn't something that the heat lamp can catch on fire ;)

100 degrees for the first few days, then you can gradually take the light up a few inches every few days, decreasing the temps about 5 degrees a week until 6 weeks, then they should be feathered and good to go :)
