Broody Hen Hatching Chicks AND Ducks?

Well, my lovely Brahma is at it again this year, same time as last year. Originally, we weren't going to let her brood, but now... well, we're considering it.

Currently, she's sitting on a nest with some chicken eggs and duck eggs. I was just wondering if we can hatch both species together? I know she could hatch ducks and be perfectly fine, but... with chicks?

Also, is there something I need to do to the duck eggs to help them out? Maybe mist them or something?

I'm also sorry if I posted this in the wrong forum... I wasn't sure which to do since this is for both species.

One thing to consider is the different incubation times. Most ducks take a week longer than chickens. If her chicks hatched, she is likely to abandon the duck eggs to take care of the live chicks.

Add: unless you accounted for this and started the duck eggs 7 days early (or 14 if Muscovys)?
