Hi,
I have 4 broody Serama hens, all sitting on the same bunch of eggs (3 eggs). They have been sitting tight for two weeks, only leaving to eat and drink. I finally candled the eggs and they are clear. I happen to have some of their eggs hatching (1 last night, two are pipping now). My question is, with four hens, is it okay to put some babies under them? Will they probably co parent, since they have been co sitting? I was thinking it would be best to wait until all three are out, so there will be more of them. But, do you think just putting how ever many are hatched by tonight would be ok? I work Sunday, so I would rather do it tonight and be able to supervise tomorrow. Any ideas?
Thanks!!!
