Broody off the nest? HELP

So I feel like this experience with fertile eggs etc has been a bad one!! First I got rotten eggs the cracked eggs and finally when I have good eggs and I even see development my hen seems to be off the nest a lot today!!..How long until the chicks will die and should I try to save them some how?...it's Day 9..If she gives up I feel like giving her away. I know that sound mean ..I'm frusterated! I'm hoping I'm wrong! ADVICE? thanks!

it's weird she keeps going back and forth...the longest maybe 40 min, then she goes back for 15 min and up again for 10 then back and sits...this has been going on for most of the day
