Broody pheasant?

My golden pheasant hen recently has been staying on her eggs, she only has 3 though, she doesn’t have a broody patch, I was hoping she would lay a full clutch before incubating. Will she keep laying till her clutch is full or her broody patch is evident, or will she just be broody on 3 eggs?

One hatched but I took it away immediately to keep the cock bird and other hens from killing it.

I would keep them separate from their parents. The adult cock bird might beat his sons up and breeding father to daughter isn't the best idea either.
