I have a silkie broody who hatched 4 silkie chicks on her own. On the same day I hatched 10 silkies in my incubator. Could I just put all of the chicks under the broody? If the broody cant keep all of the chicks warm , could I just put a heat lamp for the chicks?

Yes, you should be able to add the incubator chicks to the hatched ones, especially if they all just hatched today or are very young. Just slip them under her after dark. Give her plenty of hay or straw (or whatever) to snuggle down in with her chicks, and they should be fine.

Did she accept the chicks? 14 babies must be a hanfull! Silkies can usually handle it though.
