Buff goose has lump on head

I'm worried. There is no sign of injury but my beautiful goose has a lump on her head above her right eye. You can barely see it in the picture, it's more noticeable in person. It is very hard and doesn't seem to be painful. She doesn't like her head messed with anyway but I gave it a couple hard pokes and she didn't seem to react to it any more than me poking anyplace else on her head. I noticed it about a week ago and I've been worried ever since.

You could take it to a vet if you are worried. It can be hard to guess what it might be from a photo unfortunately.

There is no chicken/goose vet in 100 miles of here unfortunately. I was hoping maybe someone had seen something like this before.

Sorry seems like no one has. A few guesses would be bug bites, infected feather follicle, and a bump from getting knocked on the head. Hopefully it doesn't cause any lasting problems.
