Hello and welcome to BYC!

Buff Orps are a gentle breed and I highly recommend them for any flock. Just make sure to introduce them slowly into the flock, keeping them caged or fenced off within the flock for a couple few weeks so they all get to know each other from behind wire. This will prevent heavy aggression along with quarantining the new birds from your flock in case the new birds are carrying something.
