Bumble Breast (breast blister) - Graphic Pictures

Was going through my photos and found these:


Lanced


Pus removed then wound was flushed with saline and Nolvasan


Gauze rolls


Vet wrap


Nolvasan


Cotton padding


Gauze soaked in Nolvasan


Gauze pad on wound, padding over gauze, gauze roll over padding, vet wrap over gauze roll.


Was treated with Clavamox and recovered.

Do you think this could be bumble breast? She has a scab on her crop, acting normal.

If it's on the crop I don't think it's bumble breast. Have you tried putting any neosporin on it?

I haven't done anything with it, just watching it to see if it gets worse. It is not red or puffy.

I picked the scab tonight and it looked like there was a worm in it:

So I tried to pull it out. Then I realized it was her skin. (Hitting myself)

The hole goes all the way through her skin, I don't know if it punctured her crop. How did it happen? And how could I have missed it?

Her breast healed up perfectly, I don't know what made the scab in the first place. A while after that I sold her.
