Bumble foot

I noticed my chicken limping and laying down a lot a few days ago. We realized she has a small case of bumble foot. We’ve been spraying vetericyn and wrapping with gauze and Neosporin the last 3 nights. She seems to be feeling a bit better but this is her foot tonight, do we need to remove the scab for it to heal correctly or is what we are doing enough?

Under the scab, there is a kernel of pus. That must come out. So, yes, you need to remove the scab and the pus for it to heal.
