Butterball Silkie Pullet

I have a 8 month old Silkie Splash pullet that is way fatter than my other ladies. She gets layer feed and we give them scratch maybe once a week. I don't allow them to free range yet because there is not a secure place. However, they do have a very sizeable run. Any suggestions on how to get some of the weight off of her?

Photo and age and weight? Kitchen gram scale works. Chickens do not generally over eat.

Yeah, that's what I've read too. I wonder if it's a metabolism issue. They've gone to bed now but I will get a weight and picture tomorrow.
