I planted some pinkeye purple hull peas back at te end of July (around the 29th) and they have flower buds! But everything I've read says they should take 65/70 days to maturity.

Sounds good. Good luck.I have ordered seeds of 20 of the hottest and rare chili peppers know to man so I can try to get a little business started next year for plants, salsas, and seeds. I have been trying to make better use of my 3 acres, and I really want to expand my gardening skills.
There's about 20 fruit on like 5 vines.
I think he said luffa .Cucumbers? If so, the long English or Japanese cukes are my favorite. Few seeds, no need to peel, and they make great Chinese cucumber salad. They don't "talk back" to me after eating them either!
They look wonderful Dan!

Yup, luffa.Lol! I thought they were cucumbers! Thanks!
They have giant yellow flowers. When we were in Guatemala last summer, we passed huge gardens: acres of them with impressive trellises. The luffa were hanging down abundantly. As i recall, they had big yellow flowers.
I harvested some sweet potatoes, they didn't do as well as I'd hoped but thats partially my fault, at least I'll know what to do for next year.
