Cake disaster, help please

UGG, I am so not into baking sweets.

Apparently I can't even make a box cake. I always measure liquids on the kitchen window sill and after getting the cake in the oven I realise there sits the oil in the window!

This is my DHs birthday cake. What will the devastation be? It looks normal...Thanks for your help.

Well if it baked up nice looking, all the better. will you be serving Ice Cream with it? It will be a bit dry and crumbly with out the oil, yet will still taste good, The box has all the flavor in it so the oil adds moister and binding. Wishing you Daughter a wonderful Birthday.
