Calling all Penedesencas Owners/Breeders

Looks like we have 7 males and 9 females from the new years hatch.
Bamadude wants to process and cook a few cockerals.
At what age aree the cockerals perfect for the dinner table?

I don't know about perfect but I tend to butcher around 6 months or so because I want them fully grown to determine who I want to keep for breeders. If you determine early that one is inappropriate for breeding, you could process at 4 months or earlier.

Check with @ChickenCanoe he has pure Black Penedesenca's and I know he ships eggs. I have gotten eggs from him. I am putting my Penedesenca eggs in the incubator today ( eggs from the chickens I hatched from eggs from ChickenCanoe). I would offer you some of mine,but I don't yet know how my fertility rates are.

I'm not sure I would trust a hatchery to get a pure line, but that's just my opinion.

little gem hatchery is not really a hatchery. He is Lee Penny on the breeder page and was one of the first people to raise the Black
