Hey y'all! Finally got a small flock going of partridge penedesencas. One roo and 8 hens. Hope to hatch some this summer. Seem to get about 4 eggs a day now.

Got someone near Waxhaw, NC interested in hatching some of these too and starting a flock.

Lost my Hangtown crele rooster... was a sad day. He got lame legs, not sure why but I needed to stop misery. Didn't have any crele hens for him and he was super ornery. Probably the old girls I had him caged with drove him over the edge...

Glad to be back and I am just now posting on Livestock Conservancy.

They are ultra heat hardy.

For chickens, heat is heat.
