Can anyone identify this plant?

I will be spending all weekend in plant identification websites. At least it'll give me something to do?

As far as black thumbs: I am usually AWFUL, but for some reason my plants, vegetables and flowers, have done really well this year. Of course I've given up anything too delicate. Moss-roses, begonias, azaleas, mostly, as far as flowers go. Of course I've got roses, but those are pretty well established. I don't think a bomb could move those suckers.

It looks like a salvia --does it have square stems??

Can you get a closer pic of the flowers/buds? At first I thought it was a hibiscus but the leaves are wrong.
It could be salvia. If it is, do your research. Salvia is a pretty powerful hallucinogenic:
