can chicks be raised with an adult rooster?

I have an adult 1yo rooster I'm trying to rehome and found a potential taker. They are just setting up now and will have their coop ready in a week or so with 6 chicks. Is it okay to house a full grown rooster with chicks? Will it hurt them?

Depends on the rooster but I wouldn’t do it. even if he doesn’t attack the chicks, he needs full grown hens or he might try to mate with the pullets before they are full grown. If they had other hens and not just the chicks it would probably work out ok.

Either find someone else or wait until they are of breeding age.
