can I achieve blue partridge by crossing a blue buff Columbian Brahma rooster with a Golden partridge Brahma hen and then breed the offspring (hen) back to a Golden partridge Brahma rooster ?

Here’s the chick (blue buff Columbian rooster over Golden partridge hen)

That is how it done.

Blue Buff Coumbian genetic make up: eb/eb, Co/Co, s+/s+, Bl/bl+.
Golden Partridge genetic make up: eb/eb, co+/co+, s+/-, bl+/bl+

the result will be 50% of Pullets: eb/eb, Co/co+, s+/-, Bl/bl+, they will look like blue buff columbian. if these pullets are cross back to golden partridge your chances of getting blue partridge is only 25%(both genders, so 12.5% if you only need females), because the other will be regular partridge(25%), Buff Columbian(25%) and Blue Buff Columbian(25%)

you can enter the info on the chicken calculator here: https://kippenjungle.nl/kruising.html
