I have a momma goose that went broody. She was sitting on chicken, duck, and her own goose eggs. I checked the nest today and found two dead chickens smushed into her nest. I seen a goose egg was starting to hatch so I watched super closely. Once it hatched I brought it inside and put into a brooder. Should I put it back with mom and dad? How would I keep food for the gosling without chickens eating it. Or should I just raise in brooder until order and reunite. Also what if only one gosling hatches? Will it be okay on its own?
