Can i take chickens on vacation?

We take our 5 sexlinks up north with us to our cottage. They have a coop, plenty of land etc. Its a 3 hour drive, and they travel in a dog cage. They have had disruptions in their laying schedule, but they swing right back into things.

Well, I took a chicken shopping a couple times. She seemed to be OK with it. But it was a short trip accross town.

I wouldn't TRAVEL travel with them.

I say get a chicken sitter.
