poor thing. i would definitely get it cleaned snd wrapped so she doesnt get an infection. here is a link to help you with first aid.

The plus side was she didn't seem like she was in pain at all.

I just lost my only 2 hens to an owl or hawk probably. They free rang during the day and I put them up at night. I didn't put them up soon enough I guess. Murder scene with feathers all over. Found one hen in coop barely alive. I made my husband put her down. The other hen is completely missing. They were like puppy dogs, following me everywhere. I'm just sick. :-(.
