Is this little one showing any obvious signs of being a pullet or cockerel? As you can see, there is the slightest amount of waddle and comb development but it's just as pale as skin.

About 28 days old.

I would say the chick is too young to be completely sure, but I am not seeing any obvious male traits at this time. So you might have a pullet.

With most breeds of chicken, they all "look like" pullets until the males suddenly don't. Even then, the males who develop slowest will still "look like" pullets for a while longer.

Many of the female features are the same as the traits shown by young chicks, which makes it hard to tell whether a chick is female or whether it is just too young to show male traits yet.

There are some chickens that have distinctive male/female colorings, but yours is not one of them. The coloring I see in the photo can appear in males or females.
