Rooster or hen?

So, I originally thought that at least one of these two buff orpingtons was a rooster because of the size of the comb and waddles, but even at almost nine weeks old they just don't seem to show many if any "roostery" traits, such as how they act and carry themselves. What do you all think? Do they look like cockerels or could they possibly be pullets? Thanks.

At 9 weeks I’d expect more red from a roo they both look like pullets. But as nuthatched said to be completely certain the male feathering should appear around week 12-16.

If I had to guess today, I'd say you have a pair, 1 cockerel, 1 pullet, but it's only an educated guess at this early age. IMHO, I look at comb, legs, stance and other distinguishing features and form an early opinion, who knows, could be totally wrong, but keep us updated, would like to see how we all faired.

Here is an updated picture of one of them. I believe they are 13 weeks. It has a bigger comb and wattles than the one I am pretty sure is a hen, but they have mostly been pink and not red, and it doesn't seem as aggressive as I would think a rooster would be.

Definitely a rooster. I've never noticed any aggressive behaviour in my roosters at that age. Actually, between the cockerels and pullets, the pullets are more aggressive. The roos are sweet as can be and just want to follow me around.
