Just a thought I had if I ever let my Columbian wyandottes hatch eggs. I have dark brahma roo, while he isn't penciled, the females of his breed are.
How would this work if at all?

Well for barred or cuckoo females to give sex linked offspring the sire has to be solid pattern darker colored.. But the 2 following links should give you a more solid and actually comprehensive answer..

According to the second link.. despite gold and silver being sex linked.. it list Colombian Wyandotte and Dark Brahma as both being silver based.

I'm not sure if penciled (ie penciled Rock) is sex linked in the same way barring/cuckoo is. But Dark Brahma look kinda Silver Partridge to me. And that would NOT be sex linked according to my current understanding. Hope this helps some. :)

Penciled do not have head dots at hatch.

Partridge is gold penciled. Dark Brahma are silver penciled. You have no means for sex link chicks. Offspring should be Columbian with incomplete pattern.
