candle schedule?

Is there like certain days that i should candle? I know I shouldn't candle every day, but is there a schedule of certain days that should candle duck eggs?

I do my first candling at day 7, then every 7 days after that.. until 2 days before hatching day.. but everyone has their own methods and such.

I candle almost every day ^_^ I think as long as your brief and dont let the eggs cool down or more importantly get too warm from the candler your using then its fine

and also to have clean dry hands before touching so the oil on your fingers doesnt block the pores on the egg or transfer bacteria through the pores ..but im no expert hehe

but its never affected my hatches and my current ones are hatching now

I candle on day 5 then every 7 days. The last being lockdown.

I candle on day 3 because that is the absolute earliest I can see development. And because I'm impatient as all get out.
