Candling Pheasant Eggs

Does anyone have a trick to candling pheasant eggs.....I don't see anything after Day 6

I used a maglight...it takes a good eye but it really depends on the thickness of the shell and egg color. But I had good luck candeling pheasant eggs when I did them.

That's what I'm using; the eggs are an olive green color and I can't even see the air pocket.

I was told to wait until day 14. The eggs are small and thick and hard to see through.

I was able to pull one out at day 14 due to being infertile...

Mine are hatching as I type... Good luck withyours...
