Canned beans, yes or no

Can you and should you feed canned northern beans? Will washing them remove enough sodium?

Can you, yes, should you, probably not. The salt is already in the beans, rinsing won't do anything.

When I think of feeding chickens, people food, I think of food that is headed for compost or other. In a can it's not likely going bad so that means you just want to ?? Just don't and then you don't have to worry about how their bodies will take it. Unless you have a reason, like you're out of feed and they're hungry.... Just my 2cents after messing with a flocks diet to point they had poor health signs and now I do not do that.
