My cat has worms, I know to get her meds but should I not let her in my room anymore? Should she be in a separated room from everyone? We don’t really have anything other than a bathroom and closet but I don’t want to be risked with being infected because I know it’s passed through spit

To me.. on a practical level.. your risk is no higher today than it was yesterday when you let's say didn't know.. treat your family member (the cat) with care by not alienating them from their usual routine.. wash your hands after petting and don't make out with the cat (or eat their waste). :fl

Thank you, I was having a fear reaction bc google always makes everything worse. I just won’t let her lick or get too close to me. But she’s staying in my room

I always thought cats and pregnant women were a no-no, but my daughter had cats and two babes in a very small Sydney living space, and no one was any worse off.

Tip: never feed cats human tuna. My son almost killed his cat via salt overdose.

Oh wow, I know it makes them sick but never knew cats die from it!

Thank you for this, I’ll make sure to spread the word incase I see others feeding their cats tuna
Thank you. My son's cat would drool excessively after eating the human-grade tuna. I mentioned it to a couple I saw buying a full box of tuna one nite at the supermarket. They were shocked. It makes me wonder how many ppl are feeding their cat's this way. Maybe supermarkets could be encouraged to post a warning.

Thanks for your replies :)

It’s super common round here, so most likely a lot of people sadly
