Cat with eye problem - help! Any ideas?

Long story short, this is our barn cat/turning indoor cat, he’s up to date on all vaccinations and flea and tick and heart worm prevention and everything. He recently has been having the third eyelid covering part of his eyes, and has been slightly more lethargic and eating and drinking more than usual, took him to our farm vet who sees cats and dogs and temperature and everything else seemed normal so he got an antibiotic injection and they sent him home. That was about a week ago. He’s jumping running climbing as usual but his eyes are getting worse, and we are getting scared. Calling cat specialists tomorrow, in the mean time any ideas???

Side note- I do not believe e that is puss, it’s just his third eye lids as far as I can tell

Interesting...

Maybe add some garlic and oregano in his water...?

I'm not too familiar with cat ailments..

Not to familiar with cat sickness or things of that sort but definitely look some stuff up on Google and try and get some info there and if you need him to eat (idk what time your local like CVS closes but) try giving him meat baby food I tend to go for turkey and chicken Gerber baby food and steer clear of the beef (because of the lemon juice) and ham ones (you can try that one but it always makes my cat throw up)
