Get the 2 and when your drake is better start socializing them with fencing between just like we do if introducing any of ours to new ducks. I hope you have a very secure area for your ducks to be in so this tragedy won't happen again.

You want the wall to be something like fencing so they can see each other and get use to each other.

I am not sure wrapping would do any good till she molts out these feathers and starts growing new ones. I guess you could give it a try though. If needed.

Our Cayuga duck, Shadow, figured out how to fly out of her pool this morning. She is 3 months old.
