I'm sorry to hear about your eggs! Poor quackers!

Solveig and E'aster enjoying the flooded yard :)... and all the rain... so much rain. Had to chill in the shed while they played.

I have 16 Cayuga eggs in my incubator 2nd day.... Temp is 99.5% and Humidity is 52%-55%. Someone please tell me:

1.)how long it takes for them to hatch

2.) On what day does "Lockdown" start

3.) Temp/Humid change during Lockdown

4.) Is misting mandatory (if not what are pros of doing so)

*Also please share with me any other info I need to know for hatching

FYI : I have had duck before, raised from ducklings (we have a huge pond on our property) but they where taken by a fox

I'm thinking of either getting Cayugas or welsh harlequins. I want to get two females and one male. How are Cayugas when it comes to mating season? Do they overbreed the females?
