Changing coop tips

I built a brand new coop for my girls. They are in the right now. My plan is to just lock them in the new coop for a day or two and hope they get the idea. Any other tips? What's the best time of day to switch them?

I did the same thing and you want to make sure you shut up your old coop if it is available to them, after a few days they got the hint.

Whenever it's easiest to catch them.

It will probably take more than a day or two....more like a week or two.
