You mean to tell me this? I will ask again, Do you crack it open to see the Bullseye?? Or can you see it when you candle the Egg??

You have to crack it open to see it.

Frank, Yes you have to crack an egg open to check fertility. Or you can incubate it. The logic is that if you sacrifice one you can be reasonably sure that others from the same bird will be fertile before going through the initial incubation.

PLus then you can still eat the one you cracked open to check....so no waste.
