QUESTION: WIll the Egg color, chick Hatched from Lay that Same Color... Pics for notice-ment.
- Black SG mix is Dad... EE- mix Moms-White green egg layer.! Self Blue EE- mix Blue egg layer:?... 1st chick hatched last night from a green egg. Started me thinking about the Question

Rest of eggs are chirping, " Blue - Green " I'd like ANY color. Just not White or Tan

The color of the egg that the chick hatches from is determined by the genes of the hen who lays it. The color of the eggs that the chick will lay is determined by the genes of the hen that laid it, and the rooster that sired it. The color will probably be similar to the egg it hatched from, but there's no guarantee of what it will be.
