Chick hatched 1.5 days before others

Just out of curiosity, at what point do you become concerned about the one who’s begun to break she’ll but not made too much progress since about 12 hours ago?

It can take awhile sometimes, if the sack it is in has mostly dried out it is probably safe to help it a bit. There are 3 layers in eggs with chicks, the shell, a soft part, and a sack. The sack has veins in it, and if one breaks it can bleed out and die if it does not absorb enough blood. You can help it with the second layer a bit around the area where its hatching, and go from there if you are concerned.
