This is what I put on mine when they have a wound so they won't peck...

...works for me.....

I use Blue Kote as well and it is a wonderful deterent from pecking at outstanding visual spots on other birds that nosey ones can't help but notice.

Tip..open the bottle and use a Qtip to apply it to your chick. The spray will be a mess and could risk getting it in someone's eye.
