Chick pipped over 24 hrs ago, no zip

yesterday evening, I noticed that the chick's membrane was still intact while the outer shell was chipping away. I decided to intervene, and I'm glad I did. The membrane was leathery hard and there was no blood vessels, so the chick was obviously ready to come out. It's doing great, and another sibling hatched during the night!
