Chick Starter...medicated or not??!!

I'm assuming if the chicks have been vaccinated just after birth, there is no need to use medicated feed.... is that correct?

My free range that are raised by momma get non medicated starter/grower 22% protein because they are in with the egg layers and It is a great alternative so I can still eat the eggs. Brooder babies get medicated starter. Everyone does fine.
