Chick with injured leg. Not sure what

I have a 1 week chick with something wrong with it’s leg. Looked like splayed leg so I used vetwrap to straighten out. Upon further inspection I’m not sure if it’s splayed leg. I was thinking either slipped tendon or dislocated or it could be splayed leg. I’ve never dealt with any of these so I’m clueless. It’s swollen at the hock(?) and seems to be twisted out a bit. It “runs” around with the leg out to the side, chirps when I manipulate the leg. It’s a bantam so it’s small and hard to get a feel of it’s leg. If anyone can help or has ideas that would be great.

Did the vetwrap help at all?

It has helped keep its leg under itself but the leg is still twisted outwards.

Thank you yes there is some good info on there, makes me think it has a slipped tendon but I can’t feel a tendon moving around out of place. That being said it is a small bantam chick with tiny little legs, so the tendon could be small?

I suppose. The info in that thread will tell you more than I could though, sorry. You can try replying to the people who gave the most helpful info on that thread.
