Ok I'll try the saline. I don't think we have either of the others. No, none of those, just swollen shut.Try flushing it with saline and see if that will help. You might have to apply a warm/wet compress to help loosen it up. If you see anything in it flush it some more or try a wet qtip to help work it out.
You can also apply some Vetericyn eye gel or Terramycin eye ointment in the eye if it seems to be red or inflamed.
She could have been pecked in the eye, chicks are notorious for pecking at sparkly things like eyes. She could also have a piece of food or bedding in it.
Any discharge from the eye, sneezing, or nasal discharge?
Can't get the eye open still and she's not eating or drinking. I've been giving her water from a syringe and she's lapping it up like crazy. She isn't moving around much at all. She also won't open the other eye but it does open. I have been flushing it and also put some antibiotic ointment on it.How is your little one doing?
She did not make it.Does she have any swelling in the mouth?
Is the nostril on the swollen side clogged?
