Chick won't open eyes

So I have a chick who I had to assist hatch yesterday, today it's eyes don't seem to open? They were open yesterday all day.
Any ideas?

It doesn't look like it was quite ready.

Get it out, get it warm and dry, and get it some sugar water, stat. Hopefully that will perk it up enough that you can deal with any remaining issues.

To clarify, they were open all day yesterday. It got tired all of a sudden. These 2 are just over 24hrs hatched.

Have you tried water with yolk and a bit of sugar?

Okay thank you, I've done that now. Besides the sugar water. What ratio do you recommend?
