Chicken addiction forced me to stop smoking.

I have become so addicted to chickens that I had
to quit smoking 2 days ago because I needed the
Cig money to buy more hatching eggs. :/

Love it ! Maybe it will happen to me soon too .. I just had to respond when my DH asked what I would like for Mothers day .. I said Laying pellets cracked corn goat food and Starter food please lol

Wow that is awesome. You will definitely feel better now that you have stopped smoking. I am working towards stopping myself, but it's been quite a tough habit to break for me. I think the biggest problem is I can go a couple of days without them, but then I get around my family or friends who smoke and I get that urge again. I'm definitely going to have to find a "fix" that helps me kick the nasty habit. I do love my chickens and have already seen that they can be quite the addiction themselves. We went from starting with just 8 chickens to now 21 chickens and 2 ducks, and I want more LOL.. I've been dying to try my hand at hatching some eggs, but I haven't had the opportunity just yet. Maybe that will be my fix. If I use my monthly cigarette budget to buy an incubator and eggs maybe I'll see that I can live without them.

Day 3, no I think this is day 4, NO smoking

I dreamed last night I was at the store trying to buy
cheaper cigarettes than I used to get. Woke up all
upset thinking I failed at quiting. Glad it's not true.
