Chicken behavior changes - broody sounds

Hi!I have a chicken who goes broody very often - I noticed she started making broody noises a few days ago - which has happened before. But it seems she only does at certain times - not consistently. The other more concerning behavior change was her starting to go after one of other chcikens. This girl used to be our head hen, and at some point I think she became #2 with out broody girl at the top. Now, i’m seeing her chase her around more, no blood drawn but no typical for our flock. The other girl will puff up in response. I’m wondering if anyone had any ideas what is causes this. They are 3 years for reference

She's getting broody, and a broody will often fight with other flock mates. Best to break her asap. I often break them when they start clucking like that, and they sometimes don't even stop laying. Sounds like she will go broody multiple times in a season.

Ya that’s what I suspect as well - thanks for the advice. She is a determined one! She went broody 2 times last season!
