After voicing my chicken complaints via e-mail to my family members, I received the following response and immediately thought it was meant to be shared:
To our Most Venerable Chicken Serf,
Your numerous and thoroughly acquainted ingratitude from chicken world is aptly detailed. Chickens are of a most high order, exempt from benevolent gratitude. To be quite truthful, their hearts are three times too small, leaving them incapable of demonstrated appreciation.
In recognition of your enduring chicken plight we celebrate the noble traits within that the chickens can not strip from you!
Looking forward to see both of you and the unnamed tyrants of the chicken coop!
